The Department of Educational and School Psychology at the University of Southern Maine (USM) is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join our collaborative graduate faculty in Fall 2023.

The Department

USM’s Educational and School Psychology programs prepare students for careers as school psychologists and/or behavior analysts and emphasize the application of evidence-based practices within a collaborative, problem-solving framework to promote academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success for diverse PK-12 learners. USM is the only institution in Maine preparing school psychologists and behavior analysts; therefore, faculty within the department engage actively with local schools, agencies, and professional organizations to advance practice within these fields. The successful candidate will join a supportive faculty dedicated to promoting equitable outcomes for PK-12 learners by providing high quality graduate training and engaging meaningfully with the community.

  • Certificate of Graduate Study in Applied Behavior Analysis,
  • Master of Science in Educational Psychology (Applied Behavior Analysis Concentration),
  • Master of Science in Educational Psychology (School Psychology Concentration), and
