Queens College of The City University of New York invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in its NASP approved specialist level program in School Psychology beginning in August 2023. The program includes bilingual and multicultural specializations.   Candidate must have an earned doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field before August 2023. The candidate also must be eligible for certification as a School Psychologist or licensure as a Psychologist in New York. Responsibilities include teaching in the school psychology program, advising students, conducting research and service. The successful candidate will be expected to teach some combination of school psychology courses in areas such as  culturally responsive prevention, intervention and consultation and multicultural issues. Evidence of strong potential for teaching, research, and publication is required. Strong interest and experience in working in urban, multicultural and multilingual settings are highly desirable. Prior teaching experience at the college level and/or working experience as a school psychologist are preferred. Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
