This is a reminder to consider nominating an intern field supervisor for the NASP “Model School Psychology Intern Field Supervisor” recognition.  The deadline for nominations is September 15th, although submissions are welcomed and encouraged at any time. If you have concerns about the ability to obtain the materials needed for submission, we recommend starting the nomination process as soon as possible.  Now is a fantastic time to consider the outstanding field supervisors working with your students!

Here is the link to the criteria and materials: http://www.nasponline.org/resources-and-publications/graduate-educators/model-school-psychology-intern-supervisor-recognition

As you know, intern field supervisors (especially the really effective ones) don’t get nearly the recognition they deserve for what they contribute to our programs and the profession. This option is a great opportunity (each NASP approved or accredited program may nominate one field supervisor per year). Previous recipients are listed on the NASP website, and have sent incredibly heartfelt notes of appreciation for receiving the recognition.

The submission process is explained via the link above, but if you have questions contact Eric Rossen at the NASP office (erossen@naspweb.org)
