Students enrolled in a school psychology graduate program are welcome and encouraged to self-nominate. All nominated individuals will need to complete a brief Google Form with the following information:
- University name, email address, and current program
- 250-word candidate statement
- Three bullet point goals from the nominee for the upcoming year
Important Dates
- September 1st, 2023 – Nominations open
- October 13, 2023 – Nominations close @ 9pm CST/10pm ET. Election nomination google form due.
- October 18, 2023 – Voting Opens. Candidate statements released to members via SASP Listserv
- November 17, 2023 – Voting Closes @ 11:59pm (CST)
- November 27, 2023 – Election Results Announced
- December 2023 – Board Meeting with Incoming & Outgoing Officers
- January 2024 – Virtual Retreat
All elected Executive Board members are required to attend a monthly board meeting and are encouraged to attend both the American Psychological Association and National Association of School Psychologists annual conferences.
