The Department of Psychology and Counseling at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the School Psychology Program. Applicants for Assistant and Associate ranks are encouraged to apply. Other ranks may be considered dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Start Date: August 16, 2026

We’re looking for colleagues who are passionate about preparing the next generation of school psychologists and excited to make an impact through teaching, research, and service. Candidates with a Ph.D. in School Psychology (APA-accredited preferred) or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants with an Ed.D. and those bringing unique perspectives and backgrounds are also welcome.

Your Role

  • Teach engaging courses in assessment, intervention, and practicum aligned with program needs
  • Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students in their academic and professional journeys
  • Maintain an active program of research and scholarship in school psychology
  • Contribute to service at the department, university, and community level to advance the field
