APA is pleased to share a new funding opportunity within the Racial Equity Fund (REF) by offering one-time grants of up to $2,500 supporting graduate students and early-career psychologists within three years of their graduation whose work advances REF priorities in knowledge production, educational and health equity, and workforce development.
The funding supports the professional development activities that strengthen meaningful work in psychology — conferences, training, engagement with scholarly communities and professional networks, and other experiences central to advancing your contributions to the field.
Master’s and doctoral students in a regionally and/or APA-accredited psychology program in the United States, and early-career psychologists within three years of receiving a doctoral degree, are eligible to apply.
Applications opened June 1 and will be accepted through September 1, 2026. Information sessions will be held in June and July; registration details and more information about the fund are available on the REF website.
