The School Psychology program at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2023.

The School Psychology Program is comprised of an APA and NASP-accredited Ph.D. program and a NASP-accredited EdS program. There are five full time faculty positions—four tenure-track and one clinical. The School Psychology Program seeks candidates with a focused research agenda in any substantive area of school psychology but is especially interested in candidates with applied research interests in academic or behavioral interventions (including PBIS and RTI), curriculum-based measurements, and applied research with children who have developmental disabilities. The program is also seeking candidates with strong teaching skills and commitment to professional organizations at the state and national level, as well as an interest in collaborating with colleagues at the program, department, college, and university level.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
We invite applications from individuals with a record or potential of excellence in research, teaching, and mentorship of Specialist and Doctoral-level graduate students. Applicants should have a defined program of research and potential for obtaining external funding. We seek a faculty member who will contribute to research and practice emphases in diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as allow for collaboration with other faculty within the College of Education and across the University of Utah. The expected teaching load is two courses per semester, with a particular need for instruction in the area of assessment (cognitive, academic, and behavioral), as well as in research design. Additional opportunities exist for teaching courses related to areas of interest.
