Pace University invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track Assistant Professor position in School &/or Clinical Psychology to begin September 1, 2023.

The Psychology Department is housed within the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University-New York City, located in lower Manhattan.

The Department of Psychology at Pace University offers five graduate programs (Psy.D. in School-Clinical Child Psychology, Ph.D. in School Psychology, Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology: Health Emphasis, M.S.Ed. in School Psychology, and M.A. in Psychology), two undergraduate programs (B.A. in Psychology and B.A. in Applied Psychology and Human Relations), and a combined B.A./M.A. program.

The Psy.D. program is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) as a combined professional-scientific psychology program and also approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).

Position Qualifications

The successful candidate must have an earned Ph.D. or Psy.D. in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a combined degree from an APA accredited training program. The candidate must be licensed in New York State (or be eligible for licensure).

This position involves primarily teaching courses in the Psy.D. in School-Clinical Child Psychology Program, with opportunities to be involved in the PhD School Psychology Program &/or PhD Clinical Psychology (Health Emphasis) program. Limited opportunities for teaching at the masters or undergraduate level may be available.
